FORD Philippines has officially revealed the highly anticipated seventh-generation Mustang, marking the iconic pony car’s 60th birthday celebration grand fashion. The unveiling comes after the release of specifications, variants and pricing details last month, generating significant excitement among enthusiasts across the country.

The all-new Mustang, codenamed the S650, makes its debut in the Philippines with a host of upgrades both inside and out, signaling a new era for this legendary vehicle. With sleek and aggressive styling that commands attention, the 2024 Mustang embodies the essence of performance and style.

Visually, the seventh generation Mustang boasts evolutionary design cues, including a wide grille, eye-catching LED headlights, a raking roofline, and signature LED tail lights. Its commanding presence is further accentuated by massive 19-inch alloy wheels, filling the wheel wells with authority. The GT version features 255/40/R19 tires at the front and 275/40/ZR19 tires at the rear, while the EcoBoost variant comes equipped with 255/40/ZR19 tires on all corners.
Stepping inside the cabin, drivers are greeted by a cockpit designed for both performance and comfort. The centerpiece is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, providing essential vehicle information at a glance. A magnesium-framed 13-inch SYNC4 touchscreen infotainment system takes center stage, offering seamless connectivity with features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Audiophiles will appreciate the immersive experience delivered by the 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, while Recaro leather seats and LED ambient lighting elevate the interior ambiance. Under the hood, the 2024 Mustang offers two formidable engine options, each delivering exhilarating performance. The improved 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine generates an impressive 493 horsepower and 567 Nm of torque, providing an exhilarating driving experience. The EcoBoost variant is powered by a new 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 319 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a responsive 10-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters and a limited-slip differential, ensuring optimal power delivery and driving dynamics. Enthusiasts will also appreciate features like massive Brembo brakes and a Magneride damping system, enhancing performance and handling capabilities.
Safety remains a top priority, with the 2024 Mustang equipped with Ford’s intelligent Pro Pilot system. This advanced suite of driver assistance technologies includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane-centering assist, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, among others. These features provide drivers with peace of mind and enhance overall safety on the road.
