Canucks can't close out Predators in Game 5

The execution wasn’t good. You know we, you know we got to make a play under pressure and I and sometimes there’s you just take take what’s given. I don’t know what we’re doing. We’re throwing the puck in the middle. If we just chipped it to the A guy a couple times would have got possession. But yeah that’s what it’s learning lessons in playoffs man. Under pressure you got to be able to make those plays. Well we just got sloppy You know we I used to puck a couple times when we should just like sometimes we just try for the you know we we try to face off play where you know we hit a skate they almost get a break. It seems like in the second we’re trying for something that’s there. That’s not there. Like we just got to manage the game and this year sometimes it bites us in the butt. When we do that obviously it’s great for us to go back go back to Nashville. We kind of knew before the game they they don’t they don’t want to come back to Nashville. Obviously they wanted to close out tonight but you know what there’s there’s so many momentum changes even within the game it’s it’s up and down the momentum changes and you know you got you got to be a desperate team we got to be desperate next game we’re we’re still facing elimination there they want to close out in Nashville so. Umm yeah. It’s just how playoffs work. I mean, momentum is big, but at the same time you gotta find a way to play even better the next game and we gotta do that next game to to get another win. I knew Vancouver, they’re they’re gonna play their best game and you know, I thought they they played really well. It was the best. I think they played besides the third period in in in game two where they kind of went wave after wave a little bit, kind of hemmed us in and think we’re particularly sharp. But I think as a group we we stuck together. We weathered it and then I thought we got to our game in the second period and and that’s kind of us in a way, a little bit of that relentless on top. You had the puck a lot I felt missed some chances and then the third period I thought it was you could go either way, Juice made some unbelievable saves and you know we we got a bounce and that’s been kind of the series so far.
