With players returning to the lineup from injuries and COVID-19 protocols, the Canadiens sent forwards Jesse Ylonen and Rafael Harvey-Pinard and defenceman Gianni Fairbrother to the Laval Rocket of the AHL.
Ylonen played seven games for the Canadiens and had a goal and an assist, while Harvey-Pinard had one goal in three appearances. Fairbrother didn’t dress for any games.
The reinforcements will be welcome for the Rocket, which dropped a 4-0 decision to the Hartford Wolf Pack at home on Sunday.
