The Cheltenham Festival is a time of high emotions as punters experience the highs and lows of race days. There’s the sweet anticipation, the adrenaline rush during the races, and then the euphoria or disappointment depending on how well your horse as done.
The four-day event from Tuesday, March 12 to Friday, March 15, is just over a couple of weeks away. And a Cotswolds hotel will be offering a chance to relax, chill and pamper yourself to regain some equilibrium during Race Week.
The Lygon Arms Spa, in Broadway’s High Street, is planning an all-weather treat from the Monday, March 11 to Sunday, March 17 – so you could also book in advance of or after the race days.
It says, a lovely little spa day awaits as part of its Festival Fever Spa Day s. People can pop on those soft slippers and robe and enjoy an indulgent face, back and scalp massage, time in the tranquil pool and a nutritious two-course lunch.
It’s dubbed: “The perfect opportunity to recover and wind-down after a busy day at the races.” Price from £155
The Lygon Arms has two restaurants from ITV chef James Martin. Tavern aims for a pub vibe with a cosy atmosphere and an array of nibbles and Grill with its vaulted ceiling and range of dishes is for a more formal occasion.
