Top Chiefs target could arrive as soon as January
Earlier this year, some talk suggested that Chiefs were apparently set to table an offer for AmaZulu midfielder Siphesihle Maduna, but it ultimately never materialised at the time.
Maduna, who played youth football with Lamontville Golden Arrows between 2012 and 2014 before joining AmaZulu’s youth team in 2016, had made an impression as he progressed through to the senior ranks.
He has been on the Amakhosi radar for quite some time, and it’s now reported by Soccer Laduma that he has agreed – in principle – to move to Naturena, and it’s now just a matter of when.
Chiefs move coming sooner rather than later?
As it is, there is a suggestion that the move could come as early as January considering the skilful player no longer seems to be in AmaZulu’s plans going forward.
“He is one of the players that Cavin Johnson would like to bolster his squad with during the next transfer window in January as he looks to further improve Chiefs,” the article source stated.
What’s at stake?
If Chiefs and AmaZulu come to an agreement, Maduna could move in January, otherwise the player will have to move on a ‘free’ at the end of the season.
