South star Mammootty’s fans are eagerly waiting for his next film titled Turbo. The film’s first look poster was released last year in December. The poster revealed that Mammootty will be playing a character named Turbo Jose in this action film. He was seen donning a rough-and-tough look in the poster, and had a black shirt and white dhoti on. The poster went viral in no time. Fans were left anticipating Turbo’s release date. Now, we have some good news for his fans. Mammootty took to X recently to share an interesting update about Turbo. He shared a poster of Turbo which had “Major Update Dropping On April 14” written on it. Netizens are guessing that Mammootty is set to reveal the film’s release date on April 14.

Turbo also features Kannada star Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil in pivotal roles. According to reports, Turbo will have numerous action scenes. It is said that the film used a pursuit camera. It is suitable for the display motion blur measurement and is generally used to shoot chasing scenes in Hollywood films. It can shoot up to 200 km speed chasing. This is the camera used in Hollywood films like Transformers and Fast and Furious. Pursuit cameras have been used in films including Pathan in Bollywood.

According to reports, works on Turbo’s music are progressing. A video of Christo Xavier and his team preparing the background music for the film has gained attention on social media.

Mammootty was last seen in the horror flick titled Bramayugam. The movie has been a success at the box office.
