Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever Will Make WNBA History In Season Debut
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are set to make WNBA history in their 2024 regular season debut.
Clark was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft and has brought millions of fans to the WNBA, increasing the demand for her games. She has already set records for most jerseys sold in one night and the highest-priced trading card in women’s basketball history. Clark has even sold out preseason games.
Clark and the Fever’s regular season debut is less than a week away. They will travel east to face the Connecticut Sun on May 14th. The game will be aired on Disney+, marking the first-ever live sports event on the platform and the first WNBA game streamed on the app.

“Mark your calendars. Caitlin Clark’s WNBA regular season debut will stream on Disney+, Disney’s first live sporting event.”
Disney is the parent company of networks such as ESPN and ABC, which showcase NBA and WNBA games often. The game on Disney+ will be a huge step in the progression of sports streaming, and, of course, it starts with Caitlin Clark.
