Cairns police probe 'suspicious' death at shopping centre

Queensland Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 35-year-old man at Cairns Central shopping centre this morning.

One person is in custody and police are now working to establish how the man died.

Police have asked the public to avoid the shopping centre and its surrounding streets.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
