Despite playing a shredded god on screen, Chris Hemsworth is not above the lure of the Colonel.
The Australian actor, known for playing muscular Thor in the Avengers franchise, surprised a couple of young workers at a KFC drive-through in the northern NSW town of Murwillumbah on the weekend when he spent nearly $73 on fast food.
The 37-year-old’s order included a 15-piece ‘Original’ chicken, one regular ‘Zinger’ combo meal and four regular ‘Popcorn’ chicken combo meals.
The A-lister agreed to a socially distanced selfie with the starstruck fast-food staff.

“Seeing that photo of Chris Hemsworth at the drive through window of a KFC in NSW has made my day. I’m not even a fan, it’s just lovely to see that fit people eat unhealthy food at times too,” one Twitter user wrote.
The food could be used to help him beef up to play the part of Hulk Hogan, in an upcoming biopic he spoke about last year.
Hemsworth's preparations for the Hogan role will be “insanely physical”.

The actor signed up to portray the wrestling legend in 2019 and the 36-year-old star is already thinking about the body transformation he'll need to undergo to look the part.
“I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor,” he said.
“And then there is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude. I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I'm really looking forward to doing.”Internet Explorer Channel Network
