Melbourne’s highly anticipated St Jerome’s Laneway Festival kicked off with a bang on Saturday as Stormzy, Angus Stone and Steve Lacy all took to the stage.

The trio attracted massive crowds to their sets as they stunned fans with their incredible performances during the warm music fest.

Stormzy, 30, born Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., dominated with some of his greatest hip hop hits from the last few years.

The Shut Up hitmaker gained attention on the UK underground music scene in 2014 through his Wicked Skengman series of freestyles over classic grime beats.

Now the singer-songwriter owns the stage in a simple black tank top and track pants as he brought a strong energy to his performance over the weekend.
