BCDA Head of Investment Promotions and Marketing Erwin Kenneth Peralta identified synergies with the United Kingdom government, directly working with the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
On a similar note, Peralta highlighted multiple investment opportunities, including the Clark International Airport Expansion, Clark Central Business District, Clark Integrated Public Transport System and Clark National Food Hub.
The UK allows cooperation with the Philippines and promotes it as a strategic location for businesses in the Southeast Asian region.
BCCP Executive Director/Trustee Chris Nelson acknowledged the efforts of the BCDA and other investment promotion agencies in leveraging investor confidence and trust by further improving the economic zones through infrastructure, transportation and increased partnership with the private sector.
BCCP remains committed to further strengthening the growing UK-Philippine trade and representing the British business community in the Philippines. It also assists small and midsize enterprises from the UK who are keen on connecting with their Philippine counterparts.
The British Chamber will continue to work closely with the government and the private sector to promote the Philippines as an investment hub in the region.
