Kaizer Chiefs not done in the market – Motaung
“It is still the signing window. So when everything is done, we will let you know.” – Jessica Motaung told Sowetan.
“But if there are certainly new announcements coming, it will be made to the public.
“I’m glad that the Kaizer Chiefs supporters are excited and I think it is important that they are part of the journey.
“We want them to support the players that we bought together and we are also excited that we now have 100% of fans in the stadium with the way things look.
“Our target is success, success at all levels and that’s very key at Kaizer Chiefs. Hence the work that you see being done at the technical level and the management level and at the brand level,”
In other transfer news, the Glamour Boys and Orlando Pirates were set to bid it out for a star PSL striker ahead of next season.
The Amakhosi however pulled out of the race to sign the attacker and the reason has since been revealed!
According to reports, the Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were both highly interested in Cameroonian striker Bienvenu Eva Nga.
And while he eventually put pen to paper at Orlando Pirates, here’s why Chiefs pulled out of the race to sign him!
Why Amakhosi pulled out of race for top striker!
According to reports, Arthur Zwane urged the Kaizer Chiefs management to pull out of the race to sign Eva Nga from Chippa United.
Zwane believed the towering striker would not fit in the Glamour Boys’ playing style going forward.
“Attempts were made to sign Bienvenu Eva Nga but pulled out after Arthur Zwane raised concerns that the Cameroonian would not suit the system to be used at Kaizer Chiefs.” – a KickOff report read.
