- World of Warcraft will soon host the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event, offering accelerated leveling, powerful drops, and customizable gear for players to enjoy.
- The event allows players to relive the iconic 2012 expansion and may pave the way for future remixed versions of popular expansions.
- Fans of Mists of Pandaria can earn new achievements, titles, and old mount variants through the limited-time event.
World of Warcraft just announced a new limited-time PvE event called WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. This brand-new activity takes players back to Mists of Pandaria in a big way, giving them a chance to relive the expansion, all while earning new rewards for regular World of Warcraft.
In World of Warcraft Patch 10.2.6, Blizzard introduced Plunderstorm, a new PvP event that, while in WoW itself, is separate from the main game. Shortly after, World of Warcraft revealed it was working on some PvE experiments that would take place in the near future.

Now, World of Warcraft has finally revealed this new content. World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria is a new limited-time event where players can make new level 10 characters and experience the iconic 2012 expansion. Fans will have accelerated leveling all the way through level 70, earn special loot with powerful original abilities, and collect cosmetics that can be used in normal World of Warcraft. Once it releases in Patch 10.2.7, WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is available to anyone with a World of Warcraft subscription, regardless of expansions purchased, and players can participate up to level 20 on the free trial.
World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria Features
Close
- Create a new character with accelerated leveling from levels 10 through 70.
- Experience quests, scenarios, dungeons, and raids from WoW: Mists of Pandaria.
- Powerful drops and new items.
- Customizable gear with new socket abilities.
- Convert items into Bronze to purchase upgrades and cosmetics.
- Preserve transmogs, collectibles, and characters after the event.
WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will have new achievements to earn, some of which will award titles, transmogs, and unreleased color variants of old mounts. Additionally, players can turn unwanted items into Bronze – a special currency that can be used to purchase upgrades, class transmogs, mounts, and toys, including items that were previously unavailable or hard to acquire. When the event ends, fans keep any transmogs and cosmetics they unlock, and can even preserve their character for use in standard World of Warcraft.
Though Mists of Pandaria received a lot of criticism when it was first released, fondness for the expansion has only grown as the years passed. This new event will give veterans a chance to relive the epic adventure in a fresh way, and new players the chance to experience it for the first time.
World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria also sets an interesting precedent for WoW in general. If this event is a hit among fans, it is not a stretch to imagine World of Warcraft doing a Remixed version of other popular expansions, such as Wrath of the Lich King or Legion. Cataclysm Classic also arrives in World of Warcraft on May 20, so players will have a lot of retro WoW to play through soon.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and is the ninth expansion pack for the iconic massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft.
Dragonflight features an overhauled user interface, raises the level cap to 70, and introduces a new race and class.
