Bollywood actors Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal join the cast of ‘Thug Life’
Mani Ratnam’s period action drama ‘Thug Life’ went on floors last year. Following the official announcement of the title teaser, the movie created a huge anticipation and it stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The film marks the collaboration of Kamal and Mani Ratnam nearly after 35 years and the last time they worked together was for the film ‘Nayakan’.

Currently, the cast and crew are shooting for the film in Delhi, and actor Simbu who is playing an important role in the film is filming his parts in the film.
The reports also suggested that as the Delhi schedule is underway, actors Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal are shooting for it in Delhi alongside Simbu and Kamal Haasan. The shooting schedule is said to go on for a month in Delhi before the crew moves to the next location. However, the official confirmation of the new addition to the cast is yet to be announced by the filmmakers.
‘Thug Life’ stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Nasser and Abhirami. Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal are said to be the new additions to the cast. Earlier, Dulquer Salmaan was said to be part of the cast, but due to his tight schedule, he turned it down and was replaced by Simbu. There are also unconfirmed reports that actor Arvind Swamy has been replaced by Jayam Ravi in the film. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman.
