Bolivia registra muertos y heridos tras cuatro jornadas de protestas

Las cuatro jornadas de protestas en Bolivia dejan un saldo de dos personas fallecidas y otras dos heridas. El gobierno del país altiplánico criticó a quienes impiden el paso de la asistencia sanitaria, en medio de cortes de rutas entre las ciudades de La Paz y Cochabamba. El presidente boliviano Luis Arce denunció a los grupos que apoyan al exmandatario Evo Morales, quienes iniciaron movilizaciones luego que la justicia inhabilitara al otrora gobernante para inscribir una nueva candidatura presidencial.

El viceministro de gobierno, Roberto Ríos, dijo ante la prensa que “queremos denunciar (…) la segunda muerte a causa del bloqueo evista”. La Administradora de Carreteras informó durante el jueves que se mantienen 22 puntos de bloqueo en rutas de Cochabamba, Oruro, Potosí, La Paz y Santa Cruz. También se indicó que al menos 11 policías resultaron heridos por manifestantes que los atacaron con piedras y explosivos. El hecho se produjo en medio de las protestas en la región de Potosí.

En el reporte del ejecutivo de Bolivia el viceministro de seguridad, Roberto Ríos, aseveró que hasta la tarde del jueves se contabilizaban 16 bloqueos fijos en ese país. Se trata de 15 puntos interceptados en Cochabamba y otro más en Oruro. El funcionario recalcó que “como ustedes pueden apreciar ya está reduciendo los bloqueos. Lo cual representa que tenemos un normal desarrollo en ocho departamentos”. Por ello el gobierno valoró el acercamientos con los pobladores para disminuir los cortes de rutas.

La Razón informa que el defensor del Pueblo, Pedro Callisaya, pidió una pausa en los bloqueo de rutas que se mantienen en Bolivia, para que no se vulneren los derechos humanos de la población. Ante eso llamó a que el Estado garantice una respuesta efectiva y oportuna a la población. Desde el gobierno criticaron a los personeros que se encargan de “enarbolar la violencia e inducir a nuestros compañeros y nuestra propia militancia”, en medio de las disputas al interior del partido Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS).
