Boat launches Vertex smartwatch with SpO2 tracker and up to 10 days battery life

Boat has expanded its range of smartwatches in India with the launch of its next-generation Vertex smartwatch. The new device comes with a large 1.69-inch HD screen and is claimed to have a battery life of up to 10 days. The smartwatch offers an IP67 rating as well.
Boat Vertex: Price and availability
Boat Vertex comes at an introductory price of Rs 2,499. It will be available on the company’s official online store along with Flipkart. Buyers will be able to choose from Deep Blue, Active Black, Raging Red or Cool Grey colour variants of the smartwatch.
Boat Vertex: Specifications
Boat Vertex features a 1.69-inch HD capacitive square display and is said to offer a high responsive touch interface. The smartwatch comes with different health sensors. These include a 24×7 heart-rate sensor and a SpO2 tracking sensor. There is also a built-in sleep tracker to monitor sleep patterns. The sleep monitor tracks stages of your sleep- light, deep and awake.
There is a guided breathing feature as well on the smartwatch. The feature, the company says, can help lower heart rate and decrease stress levels. Using the Boat Crest app, users can get customized fitness plans based on their current BMI and activity levels.
Boat Vertex has 8 built-in sports modes. These include walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball and football. The smartwatch can also be used to track daily calories burnt, steps taken and distances covered. It offers more than 100 watch faces and is said to offer up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge.
The Vertex is also sweat, splash and dust resistant and comes with IP67-certification.
