Jets unveil new uniforms for 2024
The Jets have officially unveiled their new uniforms for the upcoming season on the team’s social media channels.
The team initially teased the new uniform announcement shorty after the Super Bowl. The Jets wore these white uniforms as an alternate twice in 2023 in home games against the Bills and Chiefs.
Whether or not you like uniform designs is a highly subjective matter. Still, I would imagine these uniforms will be very popular in the fanbase, and most will agree this look is a huge upgrade. The Jets’ unveiled their previous uniform design in 2019. The five years that followed were unsuccessful, and the uniforms were not well-received.
This look resembles the uniforms the team wore in the 1980s and 1990s.
Personally I love the look on the green and white uniforms. I have one quibble. I don’t understand the team’s insistence on trying to make black one of the primary colors along with green and white. Still these black uniforms look much better than the 2019-2023 vintage to me.
