Bitcoin is also recovering from decline due to fear of Omikron variant

Cryptocurrency bitcoin is starting to recover from the price drop that the currency made on Black Friday last Friday. This was partly due to the concerns that arose about the new Omikron variant of the corona virus. The price of the largest crypto currency rose by more than 4 percent, bringing the value of bitcoin to more than $ 58,600.

Last Friday, bitcoin had its worst day out in the past two months. That loss caused bitcoin to fall in value by a fifth from the record $69,000 set in early November. Experts see that bitcoin is increasingly following the price movements of other financial markets, as the currency is embraced by more and more mainstream companies and financial institutions.

Other cryptocurrencies also recovered, as did alternative currencies such as Polkadot and Dogecoin. A new coin with the illustrious name Omicron has surfaced in recent weeks. The value of this coin also tumbled hard last week, as the new coronavirus variant dominated world news. After that, the currency recovered.
