Devara: Karan Johar Becomes North India Theatrical Distribution Partner Of Jr NTR-Starrer

‘Devara’ is one of the most awaited Telugu movies and will star Jr NTR in the lead role. The actor will return to the big screen with ‘Devara’ after the massive success of ‘RRR’. The movie has created a lot of excitement ever since its announcement and fans are hoping that ‘Devara’ will be a huge hit. Karan Johar has now partnered with AA Films for the North India theatrical rights of the Jr NTR-starrer.

Karan Johar’s association with ‘Devara’ has made the project even bigger. The official X account of ‘Devara’ reads, “Happy to join forces with the dynamic distributors of our country, Karan Johar and AA Films for the North India theatrical distribution of #Devara! Looking forward to a thunderous release on 10th October 2024!”

‘Devara’ also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. At the India Today Conclave 2023, Janhvi expressed her excitement about working on this film.

“I’m literally counting down the days. I message the director every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched ‘RRR’. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life,” she said.

She added, “I manifested it. I prayed every day for it. In every interview, I used to say that I wanted to work with Jr NTR sir. This film might be the first time this technique worked for me. I do believe that what you put in the universe is what you attract. I have learned to be always positive and do my work. That is the moral of the story.”

Talking about working in ‘Devara’, Saif Ali Khan earlier told IANS, “It’s a very cool role and I’m working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. My director Koratala Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision. He narrated to me for three hours and I was spellbound, emotionally involved all the way.”

Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devera’ will hit the theatres on April 4, 2024.
