Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch date of its Xiaomi 14 series, which will include a standard, a Pro, and an Ultra version. All the models will arrive on February 25 in the global market. Now, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed on X that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch in India soon. While the company is yet to give a confirmation on this, the tipster also claims that 1 lakh units of the Ultra model will first go on sale. Before we have a look at the specs and expected prices, let me tell you that these phones are already available in China and so, we know the possible features of the units. The specs will likely be similar to the Chinese models. The Xiaomi 14 series packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. The devices offer UFS 4.0 storage and up to a whopping 16GB of RAM. The smartphones also boast of IP68 water and dust resistance rating. They ship with Android 14 OS out of the box.

The Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch screen, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro sports a slightly larger 6.73-inch display. Both variants share a sleek design and come with a 120Hz AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 3000nits. This is not the highest in the industry, but the panel is still expected to offer a great experience.

Equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera housing a ‘Light Hunter 900’ sensor with a customised Leica Summilux lens, both phones are expected to deliver a good photography experience like the previous models. However, the Xiaomi 14 features a fixed aperture, whereas the Pro version offers a variable aperture. Additionally, users will see a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The vanilla Xiaomi 14 has a 4,610mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, while the Pro version sports a slightly larger 4,880mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. Moreover, both models support 50W wireless charging along with 10W reverse wireless charging.

Anticipating comparable pricing to the previous year, the Xiaomi 14 is expected to start around Rs 50,000, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro may command a price tag of approximately Rs 80,000, catering to consumers seeking top-tier performance and cutting-edge features.
