‘Beyond me’: Chris Bowen slams nuclear energy as ‘fantasy’
Countries around the world are all “on the same journey” when it comes to renewable energy as it “is the
way of the future,” says Climate and Energy Minister Chris Bowen.
Mr Bowen spoke of how Australia was “competing” in an environment full of “impressive figures”.
The Climate and Energy Minister spruiked Australia’s future in renewables as he slammed the opposing nuclear energy push as a “fantasy”.
“Slow to roll out, many many years, and the most expensive form of energy available,” Mr Bowen told Sky News Australia Chief News Anchor Kieran Gilbert on Monday.
