Berlusconi wehrt sich gegen Gutachten - Prozess-Fortsetzung unklar

Der Fortgang des Prozesses gegen Silvio Berlusconi um seine “Bunga-Bunga-Partys” ist offen.

Der konservative ehemalige italienische Ministerpräsident lehnt ein vom Gericht in Mailand angeordnetes Gutachten zu seinem physischen und psychischen Zustand ab und kündigte am Donnerstag brüskiert an, nicht mehr persönlich vor Gericht zu erscheinen.

Eigentlich hätte das Gericht das Gutachten bis zum 5. November haben wollen. Wegen der Weigerung Berlusconis sei das aber nun hinfällig, schrieb die italienische Nachrichtenagentur Ansa, die aus einem Brief Berlusconis an das Gericht zitierte.

Der Politiker, der Ende des Monats 85 Jahre alt wird, beklagt, dass so ein Gutachten seine Ehre verletze und eine “klare Vorverurteilung” darstelle. “Das kann ich nicht akzeptieren.” Die Kammer hatte am Mittwoch die Untersuchungen Berlusconis angeordnet. Nun muss das Gericht entscheiden, wie und wann es weiter geht.

Das Verfahren in Mailand und ein weiteres in Siena waren mehrfach wegen Berlusconis gesundheitlicher Probleme aufgeschoben worden, wegen der der Angeklagte nicht erscheinen konnte. Der Parteichef der konservativen Forza Italia leide nach einer Corona-Infektion vor rund einem Jahr noch an den Langzeitfolgen, hiess es dazu.

Berlusconi ist wegen Zeugenbestechung im Zusammenhang mit einem früheren Prozess um “Bunga-Bunga-Partys” mit jungen Frauen angeklagt.
