Bénéfice en hausse pour AB Inbev au 1er trimestre 2024 malgré une diminution des volumes

Le bénéfice avant intérêts, impôts, dépréciations et amortissements (Ebitda) d’AB Inbev affiche une hausse de 5,4%, à 4,9 milliards de dollars au premier trimestre 2024, a annoncé mercredi le géant brassicole. Les volumes totaux ont néanmoins connu une légère baisse de 0,6%, plombés par la diminution des volumes de bières brassées par l’entreprise.

Le bénéfice attribuable aux porteurs des capitaux propres d’AB InBev s’établit à 1,09 milliard de dollars contre 1,6 milliard au premier trimestre 2023. Le bénéfice par action atteint, lui, 0,54 dollars pour les trois premiers mois de l’année.

Le chiffre d’affaires du groupe qui brasse notamment la Jupiler, la Stella Artois et la Budweiser, a augmenté de 2,6% pour atteindre 14,54 milliards de dollars.

Le recul des volumes est lié aux maigres performances de l’entreprise brassicole en Asie-Pacifique et en Amérique du Nord qui ont atténué les performances dans les régions Amérique du centre, Amérique du Sud, Afrique et Europe.

“La force de la catégorie bière, notre empreinte mondiale diversifiée et le maintien de la dynamique de nos méga-marques nous ont permis de réaliser à nouveau une croissance généralisée des produits et des bénéfices au cours de ce trimestre”, se réjouit Michel Doukeris, CEO d’AB InBev.

Le groupe prévoit pour l’ensemble de l’année 2024 une hausse de son Ebitda conforme à ses perspectives à moyen terme, soit entre 4-8%.
