Strictly Come Dancing’s success boils down to the immense talent that is exhibited on each show week in week out.
The dancers are some of the very best in the business, the musicians are at the top of their game and even the judges had hugely successful dancing careers to share their expertise from.
But if you had to single one person out from the entire programme for being the most talented then musician and composer Dave Arch would be right up there.
The incredible musician joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2006 and has been responsible for the arrangement and conducting of the music on the BBC hit-show.
Raised in Sonning Common, near Henley-on-Thames, South Oxfordshire Dave came from a musical family with his father also an accomplished composer and choral director.
Dave soon rose the ranks in the musical world and became a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra before becoming a regular London jazz circuit.
According to his website Dave has played for some of the biggest stars in the world including Paul McCartney, Elton John and Ed Sheeran.
He is also a regular at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and had been musical director for ITV for the last ten Royal Variety Performances.
He has also played as a keyboardist for over 200 films The Avengers, 1917, Gravity and Return of the Jedi.
Other movies that Dave was the keyboardist for include five Harry Potter films; Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows (part one and two).
What a champ!
