Bayern Munich must make the most of home advantage as they host Real Madrid in the first leg of a blockbuster Champions League semi-final tie.
Thomas Tuchel is leaving the club at the end of the season but there is still a chance for him to leave on a high, with Bayern through to the last-four for the first time since they won the competition in 2020.
The Bundesliga giants were underdogs in their quarter-final tie with Arsenal, but their experience helped them edge through and they are now within touching distance of a return to Wembley, where the final was also played when lifted the trophy 11 years ago.
Real beat English opposition too in the last-eight, riding their luck at times to beat holders Manchester City on penalties.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side know how to get the job done on the biggest stage, with 14 European titles to their name, and it could prove to be a sensational end to the season. Real are on the verge of lifting the LaLiga trophy already, and there is every chance Champions League glory follows.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid team news
Alphonso Davies is available for Bayern, having been suspended for the second leg against Arsenal, but there are concerns over Konrad Laimer (ankle) and Matthijs de Ligt (knee) after the pair were both forced off over the weekend.
Jamal Musiala missed that win over Eintracht Frankfurt with a tendon issue and is a doubt, while Leroy Sane could also miss out with injury and Kingsley Coman remains unavailable.
As for Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham did not feature against Real Sociedad due to a stomach issue but is expected to return, as is Rodrygo who has recently been ill.
It is otherwise a largely-fit squad for Ancelotti to choose from, although Dani Carvajal is suspended and Lucas Vazquez is therefore set to start at right-back.

Real can be expected to be more front-footed than they were at the Etihad, with the Spanish side deservedly favourites in this tie.
They have not lost in LaLiga since September and are fully capable of grinding out results, even when not at their best.
Bayern have been in better form recently and their season rests entirely on the Champions League, but it would be a surprise if they are able to keep Real’s front-line quiet.
