‘ayodhya marg’ stickers put on delhi’s babar road ahead of ram mandir pran pratishtha
New Delhi: With just two days to go to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, Hindu Sena activists have put ‘Ayodhya Marg’ stickers on Delhi’s Babar Road. The stickers were pasted on Saturday morning. However, as per an ANI Report, the stickers were later on removed.
In the images, an ‘Ayodhya Marg’ sticker has been put up on the signboard for Babar Road in Delhi. This incident also comes days before the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
The Hindu Sena president also shared photos of the Ayodhya Marg stickers put on the signboards. As per ANI, the stickers have now been removed.
In September 2022, the Hindu Sena demanded the renaming of Babar Road. In a letter written to the New Delhi Municipal Corporation, Vishnu Gupta, president of Hindu Sena wrote – “Babar Road is located in Bengali Market in New Delhi, everyone knows that Babar was an invader, an infiltrator, a jihadi terrorist who persecuted the people of India, forcibly converted their religion, forcibly demolished our monasteries, temples and erected mosques on it. When people pass through Babar Road, it reminds them of the atrocities committed by Babur on Hindus.”
