An alert has been issued for batches of Frank & Honest coffee as it was noted they ‘may be unsafe’ over an issue related to undeclared gluten.
The affected batches are of the company’s Frank & Honest Cold Brew coffee cans, which the company says were mis-packed with its Oat Latte product.
As a result, there are cans on sale, or cans which may have been purchased, which contain oats that aren’t declared on the label of the product.
The affected 250ml cans of the Cold Brew have the best before and batch dates of May 3, May 4, and and May 5, 2022.
The notice issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland reads: ‘The implicated batches of Frank & Honest Cold Brew were mis-packed with an Oat Latte Drink.
‘The product contains oats which are not mentioned on the label.
‘This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of gluten.’Internet Explorer Channel Network
