The Boston Celtics have finished their longest home stretch of the NBA’s 2023-24 season, making the trip to Florida to face the Miami Heat. They will do so without both of the reserve players they dealt for at the 2024 trade deadline, with Xavier Tillman, Sr. sitting with left knee soreness and Jaden Springer sidelined with a right ankle impingement.
The Heat are a little dinged up as well, with reserve wing RJ Hampton currently not with the team, fellow backup wing Dru Smith out due to right knee surgery, and star Miami forward Jimmy Butler questionable because of personal reasons.
Let’s take a look at the likely starters.
