Country music star John Osborne and his ‘warrior princess’ wife Lucie Silvas welcomed twins on Tuesday.

The Brothers Osborne guitarist, 40, and his British songstress wife, 45 – who debuted her baby bump at the CMA Awards in November – are now the proud parents of a son named Arthur and a daughter named Maybelle.

Osborne posted a sweet announcement on Instagram, writing the news over a vibrant background and penning a heartwarming caption to his two newborns.

Giving the exact arrival times and weights of his two children, the Stay a Little Longer hitmaker’s announcement read, ‘Arthur 1:43am 3lb 13oz 15 1/2. Mabelle 1:44am 5 lb 1 oz 18. We did it y’all. @luciesilvas is a damn warrior princess.’

Captioning the post, John addressed his newborn twins and beloved wife, writing: ‘Welcome to this crazy world, Arthur and Maybelle. It’s going to be a wild one. @luciesilvas – You’re a damn boss.’

Gearing up for fatherhood: John shared a hospital snap prior to welcoming a son named Arthur and a daughter named Maybelle

The couple received an outpouring of love and support from fellow country stars, receiving multiple heart emojis from Michelle Branch, Ashley McBryde, and Karen Fairchild.

‘Yessssss,’ wrote Brett Eldredge. ‘They are going to be some incredible kiddos with great hearts.’

‘Yeah!!!!!’ cheered Brandi Carlile, while Mary Steenburgen wrote: ‘Arthur and Maybelle, we love you two already!! See you very soon. Xoxoxo.’

Gearing up for the delivery, John also posted a picture of him in the hospital wearing a face mask, blue hair net, and white scrubs, writing: ‘It’s go time.’

The couple first announced they were expecting twins to People ahead of their appearance at the CMA Awards.

‘We are so excited,’ Luci told the publication. ‘It is such an amazing thing to be in this position to be growing two babies.

‘When you think that you may never have the chance to have children and then suddenly you’re going to have two, it’s amazing.’

The couple have been married since 2015 and underwent in vitro fertilization to have children.

A long journey: The dynamic duo have been married since 2015 and underwent in vitro fertilization to have children

Luci opened up to People about their long journey with IVF to get pregnant, sharing that they were secretly hoping for twins.

The Breathe In singer said, ‘We went through a very long, tough journey with IVF to get to this point.

‘We had an embryo transfer where we transferred two embryos thinking that would give us a better chance of getting one [baby], but we got two. I think deep down, we were hoping for two.’

John and Lucy met in 2007 during a fortuitous songwriting session. The other half of the Brothers Osborne, T.J. Osborne, publicly came out as gay in 2021.
