Sydney Sweeney showed off her chic sense of style as she stepped out in New York City on Thursday not long before taking on hosting duties on Saturday Night Live.

The Euphoria actress, 26 – who recently starred in hilarious SNL promos alongside Kacey Musgraves – was spotted stepping out of a sleek, black vehicle before making her way through a crowded sidewalk.

She donned a fitted, short-sleeved black top as well as a black, velvet miniskirt that stopped inches above her knees.

The beauty additionally wore a pair of sheer tights as well as black loafers that contained a block heel on the back.

Sweeney easily carried a black purse in her hand to hold a few items she needed during the outing in the Big Apple.

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle, and cascaded down past her shoulders in elegant waves.

She opted for minimal accessories, and added a few rings on each of her hands while also donning a pair of fashionable shades.

A warm blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a rosy pink tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

When it comes to fashion, she previously told Harper’s Bazaar that her style evolved when she moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue acting.

‘I definitely learned a lot when I moved to LA, and learned that there’s no boundary or no box that beauty and style was put in – that you can be whoever you want. And that was really inspiring.’

‘I feel like I’ve always stayed true to Syd and just kind of sprinkled in parts of LA,’ the beauty expressed to the outlet.

The star added that although her career has since skyrocketed, she has still remained ‘true to’ herself through all the fame. ‘I think that my philosophy is always to kind of stay true to myself and just do things my way.

‘Being me, of course, is what’s going to make me feel good, but I have the privilege of being able to play so many different characters and be so many people and learn so much from them.’

‘And at the end of the day being able to go home and be Syd is a really good feeling,’ she said.

Sydney has been filtering through a busy schedule, and recently starred in Marvel’s Madame Web – which was released earlier this month on Valentine’s Day.

She also appeared alongside Glen Powell in the romantic comedy, Anyone But You, which hit theaters late last year in December.

During an interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier this week on Tuesday, the actress teased a possible sequel to the movie.

In regards to whether it was likely there can be a sequel to Anyone But You, Sweeney hinted, ‘Maybe like a high nine chance.’

Her response caused the talk show host to say, ‘Oh really? That’s what I’m talking about! I can’t wait to see it.’

And while attending the 2024 SAG Awards over the weekend on Saturday, Powell opened up about wanting to work with Sydney again on another project in the future.

‘When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun,’ the actor told Variety. ‘We’re definitely trying to find the next thing. Please send us all the scripts you got. You know we’re here for it.’

‘It’s been really wonderful to read a lot. Sydney reads everything, by the way, and in record time,’ the Top Gun: Maverick star said.

‘She’s the fastest reader I think I’ve ever met. It takes me a little longer, but we’re reading everything and just trying to see what makes sense, what we can turn into something that audiences are going to respond to.’

In the meantime, Sydney is set to appear in the upcoming horror movie titled Immaculate, which is set to release next month on March 22. Powell will also appear in the action flick, Twisters, which will premiere later this year in July.

In the second brief promo, Heidi shows off her excitement for Leap Day by inquiring about the ladies’ wishes on the rare and special occasion. After the pair agree that they both wish for a ‘great show,’ Heidi reveals her wish.

‘I wish they made like teeny tiny chips, the size of rice, so you could eat like a thousand chips and it wouldn’t be that much,’ she explained.

The clips come after Sydney performed in a satire of a meet-cute for a different SNL promo with SNL star, Michael Longfellow.
