At 85, Gospel star Bill Gaither and his vocal band coming to Michigan City

MICHIGAN CITY — The Road To Life Church, at 7056 W. County Road 450 North, will host popular gospel music singer and songwriter Bill Gaither and his Gaither Vocal Band in concert at 7 p.m. Central time Nov. 11.

Joining them will be female vocalist Charlotte Ritchie, male vocalist Gene McDonald and guitarist/comedian Kevin Williams. 

The 85-year-old Gaither’s career spans seven decades and some 700 songs that he’s written with his wife, including “He Touched Me.” He and his band are back on tour after a 14-month pandemic hiatus. They will perform gospel classics and newer favorites. Earlier this year, the band released the album “That’s Gospel, Brother” that highlights members Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith.
