A's Mason Miller casually hit 104 MPH with a scorching fastball

The Oakland A’s are a complete mess this year, both on the field and off of it with the impending move to Sacramento before the next move to Las Vegas.
But let’s step back and talk about one of my favorite stories of the 2024 MLB season so far: young pitcher Mason Miller dialing it up to triple digits on the radar gun.
The former third-round pick in 2021 is now the A’s closer, and he’s hitting over 100 MPH regularly on the mound. That included one pitch Thursday that hit 104 MPH, and I’m amazed a Rangers hitter was able to get a bat on it:

Mason Miller threw the four fastest pitches in the Majors this season en route to a save for the @Athletics 🔥
The rookie dialed it up as high as 103.7 mph and hit 101+ on all nine of his heaters: pic.twitter.com/ltipOL7zGl
