Nursery Group – Well done to our nursery boys and girls who had their first training session last Tuesday evening, great fun had by all in the sunshine, can’t wait to do it again next week, see ye then.

Our juvenile chair, Dave McCarthy remarked that special praise was merited to the players, and to the parents and coaches who put themselves forward to help. Dave was on hand to welcome to our latest crop of players. It was a beautiful evening to get started with Killavullen GAA Club.

Busy weekend of Ladies Finals – In a cracking game of ladies’ football, that could have gone either way, Mallow just prevailed by a solitary point in the North Cork Premier under-14 grade football, in front of a large attendance last Sunday evening in Killavullen.

Remarkably, Killavullen have enough players at this age cohort to be able to field two teams, our blue team and white team.

That in itself is remarkable, and Brian Fitzpatrick and his able coaches have certainly no easy task in picking the two teams. Well done, all.
