Scott Morrison and his family managed to score prime seats for Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour in Sydney on Friday night.
The former prime minister shared a snap of himself, dressed in pink, at the concert on the ground level of Accor Stadium alongside his wife Jenny and daughters Lily and Abbey.
Friday night marks Mr Morrison’s third appearance at a Swift concert, having seen her tour her Reputation and 1989 albums in previous years.
Other notable faces in the crowd on Swift’s first night in Sydney were Rita Ora, Katy Perry, current PM Anthony Albanese and the superstar’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Weather warnings had initially stalled the start of the show after a lighting strike hit less than 10km away from the stadium but the concert kicked off at about 7:50pm.

The former Prime Minister is a secret Swiftie and has been to two of her previous tours
‘All reddy tonight for the Morrison’s third Swifty family concert (1989 our first all together). So many having such a great night. Enjoy everyone,’ Mr Morrison wrote.
The family had also seen Swift in 2015 for her 1989 tour and in 2018 for her Reputation tour.
‘Heading out to see the Taylor Swift – time to shake it off,’ he wrote at the time of the Reputation tour.
For the 1989 concert, Mr Morrison said: ‘She might not be Tina Arena, but getting ready to #shakeitoff with my girls at Taylor Swift.’
In the same year he similarly used the song to attack Labor’s economic plan in his role as shadow treasurer.
He also used it to dispel rumours of a spill deal two months prior when confronted by reporters.
‘What happened in February and what happened later in the year were completely different issues and you should shake it off,’ he said.
The song is also Mr Albanese’s favourite, with the current Prime Minister going on record to say that he has played it on vinyl at The Lodge.
Swift’s 2014 mega-hit Shake It Off seems to be a favourite of Mr Morrison’s and he referenced it while talking to journalists in 2015. He also used her 1989 album to attack Labor’s economics in the same year (pictured)
Swift had to cancel the opening act of her show on Friday after Sydney’s Accor Stadium was evacuated due to weather concerns.
A statement from the stadium issued just before 6pm told concert-goers the three-hour show had been delayed.
‘Please note, due to weather, show start time has been delayed,’ it said.
‘Stay undercover until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions.
‘Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you.’
Once fans were allowed back in they were met with a host of celebrities including Kelce who walked towards his VIP booth to the thunderous applause of fans.
‘We have a little bit of a weather situation, we might have some rain, but I’ve never known an Aussie crowd to let that get in the way of having a good time,’ Swift told her fans after beginning her performance.
