Purported Xiaomi 14 Ultra renders (Photo credit: WinFuture)
Xiaomi 14 Ultra full specs, design, and also the expected price has leaked online ahead of its expected launch on February 25. A lot of the hardware specifics corroborate ongoing rumours and while it’s always advisable to take such information with a pinch of salt, the fact that it’s coming from a source with an excellent track record, we might just be looking at the real deal.
The 14 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s most powerful new phone, a step-up over the Xiaomi 14 Pro which was launched in China last year and is all but confirmed to launch globally on February 25 ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 trade show in Barcelona. The Xiaomi 14 is also expected to launch alongside. One of these phones is headed to India, too, if reports are to be believed. It isn’t immediately clear if Xiaomi will debut the Xiaomi 14 Ultra on global stage or if there’s going to be a China announcement before that. We’ll see.

Anyhow, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly (via WinFuture) arrive with a 6.73-inch 2K or 1440p resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 storage at least in Europe (a 1TB model is expected in some markets, presumably China will be one of them). Powering the phone will be a 5,300mAh battery with 90W fast wired and 50W wireless charging.
For photography, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to come with a 50-megapixel quad rear setup with a combination of wide (1-inch type), ultra wide, 3.2x telephoto, and 5x periscope telephoto. Leica will be onboard, as expected. The front camera is said to be a 32-megapixel.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly come in a choice of black and white with vegan leather finish and metal frame. There is some word that Xiaomi may also bring a Titanium frame version in some markets. Rounding off the package will reportedly be IP68 rating, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC connectivity.
As for pricing, the report suggests that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra 16GB/512GB variant will retail for Euro 1,499 which roughly translates to Rs 1,34,000.
