‘Never been anything like it’: Legal analyst recounts covering OJ Simpson trial

Loyola Law School legal analyst Professor Stanley Goldman has discussed what it was like covering the infamous OJ Simpson trial in the 1990s.

“There had never been anything like it,” Professor Goldman told Sky News Australia.

“People who are too young now to remember don’t realise it was just gavel to gavel.

“Live coverage on several networks, national networks, local networks at night there were daily evening shows dedicated to showing what happened during the course of the trial.”

Mr Goldman’s remarks follow the news of Mr Simpson’s death.

OJ Simpson’s family revealed he passed away at his Las Vegas home on Wednesday.
