主要格安SIMの料金表とともに、格安SIM、SIMフリースマホなどの1週間の動きをまとめてお届けしている本連載。先週は、QWERTYキー付きスマホとして話題になっているUnihertz「Titan Slim」の通常予約が開始。また、au MVNOの各社が通信障害にともなう返金対応を発表している。 QWERTYキー付きスマホのUnihertz「Titan Slim」。Kickstarterで出資したバッカーの元にはすでに端末が届いている UnihertzのQWERTYキー付き端末「Titan Slim」 同社サイトで通常予約の受付を開始 約4万3000円 クラウドファンディング発で超小型スマホやQWERTYキー付きスマホなど、特徴的な端末をリリースするとともに、日本向けに技適も取得しており、国内でもユーザーが多いUnihertz。今年5月にKickStarterでバッカー募集をしていたQWERTYキー付きスマホ「Titan Slim」について、同社サイト上で通常予約の受付を開始している。価格は先行予約セールで319.99ドル（約4万3000円）。発送は8月15日から順次としている。バッカー向け端末が編集部にも届いたので、写真中心に紹介しよう。 こちらが肝心のキーボード。4段で記号類はキーの組み合わせが前提。上段中央は指紋センサーでタッチでホーム画面に戻る設定も可能 Unihertzは過去にもQWERTYキー付き端末の「Titan」「Titan Pocket」をリリースしていたが、ほぼ正方形のディスプレーを採用していたため（仮想的に縦長にすることは可能）、利用できるアプリ／ウェブサイトに一部制限があったのは確か。 今回は768×1280の4.2型液晶（15：9）になり、その点では解決されている。画面サイズは最近のスマホとしては小さいが、その分、横幅が67.6mmと抑えられている。また厚みが12.75mmとさすがにゴツイが、昔のスマホ（「W-ZERO3 [es]」など。同機は20mm以上あるのだが）のようで使ってみると、案外にも違和感は無い。なお、背面はツルツルの素材で正直滑りやすいので、製品に同梱されていたケースとの組み合わせでの利用が現実的だろう。 背面はツルツルで、そのまま使うと指紋も目立ちやすい 端末全体を覆うシリコン製のケースが製品に付属していた さすがに分厚い本体だが、見た目よりは普通に使える。イヤホン端子が無いのは残念 SIMスロットは2つあって、それぞれにnanoSIMを入れられる。microSDの追加は不可 肝心のキーボードについては、クリック感があり、比較的しっかり打つ必要があるキーと言える。数字や記号はキーの組み合わせとなるので、基本的に両手で持って打つことになる。なお、日本語入力を前提とすると、定番アプリの「AquaMozc for Titan」の導入は前提にしたい。 キー自体は横幅からも小ささは感じるが、打っていれば案外慣れてくる。移動中のチャットやメールの返信は大変快適 そのほか主なスペックは、SoCがMediaTek Helio P70（2.1GHz）、6GBメモリー、256GBストレージ、48メガカメラ（イン8メガ）、4100mAhバッテリー、前面指紋センサー、Android 11など。本体サイズ／重量は67.6×146.85×12.75mm／204g。ネットワーク面ではnanoSIM×2で、4キャリアのSIMが短時間試した範囲では利用可能だった。防水やFeliCaはサポートしていない。Wi-FiやBluetoothが切れやすい問題があったりと若干気になる部分もあるが、QWERTYキー付きスマホを過去に便利に使っていて、文字入力中心のサブ端末としてなら、間違いなく欲しくなる1台だろう。 au MVNOの各サービスはKDDIの通信障害への対応を発表 200円または基本料の3日分という2パターン ...
