Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his OTT debut with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar on May 1, and ever since the show has been receiving praise from the audience and critics alike and the cast couldn’t be happier enough. The show features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman in pivotal roles.

Amul’s tribute to Heeramandi

Amid the success of Heeramandi, dairy giant Amul took to its social media handles and paid tribute to the show. They gave a big shoutout to the courtesans of Heeramandi as the cast. They were seen biting into a toast laden with butter as they posed for the camera and the text read, “Har heeraine ke liye! Glittering taste!”

Bringing his lifelong dream into reality, Sanjay earlier told ANI, “It’s difficult to make a series, but we’ve made it, and I have enjoyed it. I’m glad and thankful to God that we made it. 14 years of planning, 18 years of living with it, and two years of designing, so it’s a lot of work that has gone into it,” he added.
