Aaron Rodgers RETURNS to the Pat McAfee Show just 24 hours after being axed amid Jimmy Kimmel-Jeffrey Epstein scandal... as he reveals he is 'out in the woods' for NFL offseason

Aaron Rodgers has appeared on The Pat McAfee Show a day after the host said he would not be on there for the rest of the NFL season.

Rodgers caused outrage when he recently implied Jimmy Kimmel could be named on the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates on his weekly Tuesday appearance.

The uproar led to McAfee announcing on Wednesday this week that Rodgers would no longer appear on the show for the rest of the NFL season – a decision that barely lasted 24 hours.

The Jets quarterback Rodgers, 40, made a short appearance in what he described as a ‘woods retreat’ to discuss Bill Belichick leaving the New England Patriots after 24 years.

McAfee introduced Rodgers by saying: ‘Joining us now to chit-chat to talk about massive names being amicably departed at a very, very high level is a four-time NFL MVP and a man who is a Super Bowl champion.

‘Ladies and gentleman, the last man that Bill Belichick talked to on the field as the New England Patriots head coach, Aaron Rodgers.’

Rodgers said he couldn’t see McAfee on his own video link because he was in the woods and ‘the offseason has begun’.

Rodgers stuck to football in a shorter appearance than his usual hour. Last week, after Rodgers made his claims about Kimmel, the comedian replied threatening legal action and demanded an apology.

In his regular Tuesday slot, Rodgers did not apologize this week and McAfee said a day later that it was the end of his time on the show for the remainder of the NFL season.

The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch first revealed on Wednesday that the decision was made by McAfee himself given he has ‘creative control and control of guest booking’. ESPN was also said to support his call.

And the New York Post reported that Rodgers was slated to feature through next month’s Super Bowl before his spat with Kimmel forced McAfee to end his weekly segments earlier than anticipated.

But McAfee, it appears, has now thrown a curveball by bringing Rodgers back so quickly for a brief appearance.

The list that Rodgers referred to is a 2015 civil defamation suit brought against deceased millionaire Epstein.

The deposition was unveiled publicly for the first time this month and contains the names of many alleged Epstein clients, who are accused of having sexual intercourse with underage girls.

Kimmel was not named in the deposition, he’s maintained his innocence, and there are no credible allegations against him.

But despite his clear suggestion to the contrary, Rodgers denied linking Kimmel to Epstein, telling McAfee on Tuesday that he’s being canceled by the mainstream media: ‘This is the game plan of the media, and this is what they do. They try and cancel, you know? And it is not just me.’
