On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are in Minnesota, facing off against the Timberwolves at the Target Center.
James Harden is playing in his 1,034th career game, which moves ahead of Walter Davis and ties David West for 126th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.
Following West, the next player for Harden to pass will be DeAndre Jordan (1,037th).
Harden came into the evening with averages of 17.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 42.8% from the three-point range in 33 games.
The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 25-13 record in their first 38 games.
They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Clippers beat the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 128-119.
In 24 minutes of playing time, Harden had 11 points, one rebound, nine assists and one steal while shooting 3/7 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range.
Following the Timberwolves, the Clippers will return home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday evening in Los Angeles.
Harden is in his first season with the Clippers and has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets.
The 2018 MVP has career averages of 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range.
