Aldi Is Slashing Prices on 250 Summer Products to Save Customers $100 Million
Prices are getting even lower from now to Labor Day.

Aldi is already known for its low prices (especially with those monthly Aldi Finds), but the fan-favorite retailer is about to offer us even more ways to save money.
This summer, Aldi is cutting prices so low, they want customers to save a collective $100 million. That’s right. If you’re looking to save this season (who isn’t?) you’ll want to read on to learn how you can do it when you shop at this grocery store all summer long.
Aldi’s Summertime Savings
Aldi is lowering its prices on over 250 popular summer products to help shoppers save $100 million through Labor Day. For the second year in a row, the grocer will cut prices on everything from barbecue and picnic essentials to snacks for traveling.
For the brand’s health-focused line, Better-For-You Foods, you can score Simply Nature: Chia Seeds for $4.89 instead of $5.45 and Season’s Choice: Frozen Blueberries 24-ounce for $3.59 compared to $3.99.
As for picnic necessities, choose from Specially Selected: French Baguette for $1.49 (regularly $1.59), Simms: Summer Sausage for $4.19 (regularly $4.49), and Emporium Selection: Cracker Cuts for $2.69 (regularly $2.89), also ideal additions to your charcuterie board.
Travel-ready snacks for when you’re on the go this summer include Simply Nature: Organic Granola Bars for $3.49 (regularly $3.99) and Southern Grove: Dried Mediterranean Apricots for only $2.99 (regularly $3.39).
Of course, summer isn’t summer unless there is a barbecue and there are plenty of items to choose from in Aldi’s BBQ Essentials line, such as USDA Choice Black Angus Sirloin Steak for $6.99 (regularly $8.49), Family Pack Chicken Breast for $2.19 (regularly $2.49), and Season’s Choice: Frozen French Fries 32-ounce for $2.49 (regularly $2.79).
“ALDI is always looking for ways to help customers save money, but with more experts warning of persistent inflation, the time was right to deliver even greater discounts on our already low prices for the second year in a row,” said Dave Rinaldo, President at ALDI U.S. in a press release. “We don’t want food prices to hold people back from getting together with friends and family or spending time outdoors this season.”
Last year, Aldi offered summer savings to help customers save over $60 million on groceries, making this year’s initiative practically double in savings.
