Alberta teetering towards a snowy week
Well, for Alberta, if you’ve taken those winter tires off, you might want to put them back on. This upper level through is going to be moving into the prairies, bringing with it a little bit of cooler conditions. But this Montana low that will be tracking N over Saskatchewan, that’s what’s going to bring a bit of more of that northerly flow heading into Tuesday morning across areas of Alberta. That’s going to bring a mixture of rain and snow across regions of Alberta, mainly showers towards the east across Saskatchewan. And this low really does not want to move or budget. Will Neander over the location, bringing a heavier amount of snowfall across areas of Calgary down to Lethbridge as we head from our Tuesday evening into our Wednesday. Now in terms of the showers, they will be quite beneficial, especially with the ongoing wildfires across Alberta, higher amounts further towards the northern end of the province, but there’s still a little bit of uncertainty, especially around how much snow can we see across Alberta.
