The cesspool in the well-known Netherlands is open and will not close for the time being. Marco Borsato, The Voice and all kinds of famous people pointing the finger at another. Presenter Albert Verlinde drops another bomb. He now accuses Humberto Tan of transgressive behavior. Tan himself denies those allegations and calls it “libel”.
The allegations against Marco Borsato about the alleged sexual abuse still seem like yesterday. But apparently we park that news for a while and follow new suspicions again. Last weekend was talent show The Voice of Holland under fire. With accusations about transgressive behavior from, among others, Ali B and band leader Jeroen Rietbergen, Linda de Mol’s husband. Rietbergen has now confessed. This Thursday a report will appear on the channel of the online program ANGRY, from presenter Tim Hofman.
After The Voice of Holland now Humberto Tan
This was followed by a stream of celebrities who knew or did not know about this and who made themselves heard. Singer and jury member Anouk resigns at The Voice, presenter Chantal Janzen lashed out at the program and jury member Waylon and former presenter Wendy van Dijk knew nothing about the situation behind the scenes of the program.
In short, a witch’s cauldron in showbizland. But it doesn’t seem to stop there. Last night gossip expert Albert Verlinde dropped another bomb at the table Show news. This time he hangs presenter Humberto Tan from the highest tree. According to Verlinde, Tan went too far behind the scenes of around 2015 and 2016. RTL Late Night.

Albert Verlinde accuses Tan
“It is within RTL, and we have experienced the story Dionne Stax, also known that Humberto had a tendency to contact women who were nice after the broadcast,” says Verlinde. “Why am I telling you that now? Not to screw Humberto. But because I know that people have left the program and said, ‘It’s like I’m here producing more of a dating show than a talk show.’”
It seems like now is the time to settle old scores. The great danger is that anyone will accuse anyone. Fear that this will continue. https://t.co/h2BmBVHIal

Culture at RTL
Tan’s misconduct would have been in the same period as Rietbergen’s missteps at The Voice. According to Verlinde, it’s really not just about The Voice. “What concerns me is that Talpa, ITV and RTL should investigate what happened at” The Voice. I also want to call on RTL to conduct a broad investigation, because apparently there was a culture at that time in which these kinds of things took place.”
Verlinde makes a link with other RTL programs from that period where things also went too far. “What the hell was going on at the time? And everyone should be held accountable for that. It needs to be investigated.”
Humberto Tan defends
According to Verlinde, the success of RTL and the period in which the misconduct took place seem to be related. “RTL was king. Everything scored the stars of heaven. They went there like kings through the corridors,” said the presenter. „That caused a culture at that time and The Voice is a very direct expression of that. Like: ‘We can make anything’”
Later Tan responds on Twitter to Verlinde’s claims and calls them “pure libel”. He himself explains that he would normally thank his guests after the broadcast. “Men and women”. He posted on a Whatsapp conversation between him and Verlinde from 2017 to clarify this.
Albert Verlinde accuses me of inappropriate apps to “every woman I would like” during the period at Rtl Latenight. What a mess! Pure slander. After the broadcast, I thanked all guests via app: men and women. Nothing else. to do with The Voice.

For example, after the broadcast, I also sent Albert a thank you app after the broadcast. pic.twitter.com/Eo17msXgx9

Twitter Suggests About Accusations
Verlinde’s accusations are frequently discussed on Twitter. But many Twitter users find the gossip journalist’s claims questionable. According to them, there is also a lack of evidence and, according to twitterers, Verlinde forgets that he himself was part of the RTL empire for a long time. The last of this probably hasn’t been said yet.
True @debroervanroos spent months researching with his editors, Albert Verlinde calls out damaging things from his gossip pulse @HumbertoTan
And then he probably sleeps just fine. Ooh. How hard not to give in to a curse tsunami. Wet twat.— Myrthe Hilkens (@MyrtheHilkens) January 16, 2022
So… Albert Verlinde throws Humberto Tan in front of the bus.
For the sake of convenience, does Albert Verlinde forget that he has been part of that mess there for years? #sbs6 #shownews #thevoice#humberto #albertverlinde pic.twitter.com/J8pz7l4odx— Mike (@mj___87) January 16, 2022
With lyrics like “it’s not that I want to screw Humberto”, “I don’t care about Humberto”, “I hope the emphasis isn’t on Humberto now”.
