Alabama The Favorite To Land Four-Star OT Jackson Lloyd Over Other CFB Powers
Despite the notion that he couldn’t recruit, Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer is already making strides at his new gig.
It is no secret that being one of, if not the most successful program in college football opens doors on the recruiting trail and DeBoer is taking full advantage. The Tide already holds 10 commitments, and based on a report by On3’s recruiting insider Steve Wiltfong they appear to be very close to adding commitment No. 11.

According to Wiltfong, the Tide are the favorites to land four-star offensive tackle Jackson Llyod. Don’t let his position on the gridiron and sheer size at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds confuse you either, as Llyod is a three-sport athlete who also stars in baseball and basketball.
Other programs like Ohio State and USC are in hot pursuit, but Wiltfong wrote that the Tide are “setting the pace”.
The Carmel, California native is ranked as the No. 29 recruit in the country by On3, and ranks as the top player in the state of California. He is set to take an official to Alabama on June 14.
