Alabama QB Jalen Milroe won't commit to saying Michigan cheated

Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide were on the business end of the Michigan Wolverines this past season.
The Tide and Wolverines met in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl, with Michigan advancing to go on and win the CFP national championship over Washington.
Milroe didn’t throw a touchdown, didn’t rush for a touchdown and was largely stifled by a dominant Michigan defense, but it doesn’t sound like he’s all that bitter now that we’re firmly entrenched in the offseason.
Recently joining the “Bussin With the Boys” podcast, Milroe wasn’t all that interested in getting into the weeds with host Taylor Lewan, who played at Michigan from 2009-13 before having a solid NFL career.
“It don’t matter, they won,” Milroe said (h/t On3). “They won. It don’t matter, they won.”
The Alabama quarterback is clearly taking the high road. This is despite cheating allegations levied against Michigan last season, including a sign-stealing operation that former head coach Jim Harbaugh may or may not have known about.
There was also that pesky bit about recruiting during a COVID-19 dead period, which led to the school being put on a three-year probationary period but the NCAA which includes a fine, recruiting restrictions and show-cause agreements for those involved.
Well, agreements for everybody besides Harbaugh, who skipped town for the Los Angeles Chargers.
“One former coach did not participate in the agreement, and that portion of the case will be considered separately by the committee on Infractions, after which the committee will release its full decision,” the statement from the NCAA read.
While the NCAA still hasn’t had its final say on Harbaugh, let’s consider Alabama over it all.
