Eskom planned maintenance will result in a 10-hour power outage in parts of Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
The scheduled maintenance will take place on Saturday, 17 February.
A 10-HOUR POWER OUTAGE IN GAUTENG AND MPUMALANGA
In a statement, the metro municipality said a power supply interruption in Bronkhorstspruit will be due to a connection on an inline strain tower.
The power outage is expected to last ten hours, from 7:00 until 17:00 on Saturday, 17 February.
The City of Tshwane said that in the interest of safety, it will shut down the power supply during this period.
THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL BE AFFECTED:
- Bronkhorstspruit
- Ekangala
- Kromdraai
- Kwaggafontein

Customers should treat all electricity supply points as live at all times.
“The City of Tshwane apologises profusely for the inconvenience this planned power outage may cause. Should there be challenges in the interruption mentioned above from taking place, customers will be informed,” the municipality said.
