Adin Hill Will Start In Game 5 For the Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights HC Bruce Cassidy has elected to start Adin Hill instead of Logan Thompson who started the previous four games in the series.
In Game’s 1 through 4, Thompson posted a .913SV% and a 2.35GAA. He won both games on the road and showed no reason to be losing the crease. Thompson was almost able to steal Game 3 for the Golden Knights.
As of now, there is no report on whether or not Thompson is dealing with something and it could likely be a hunch that Cassidy believes Hill should be the starter tonight.
Heading into the playoffs Hill was going through his worst stretch of the season. His numbers had taken a massive hit after returning from an injury.
Despite that, Hill was incredible for the Golden Knights in the 2022-23 playoffs. He posted a .932SV% and a 2.17GAA in 14 starts.
The Goldens have allowed the Dallas Stars back into the series. They lost both home games and now head back to Dallas with no momentum. They needed changes and maybe Thompson isn’t deserving of it but it could prove to be a wake up call for the Golden Knights skaters.
Puck drop is at 4:30 P.M. PST and we’ll see a matchup of Hill against Jake Oettinger in a pivotal Game 5.
