Actress Faria Abdullah is paired up with Allari Naresh in Aa Okkati Adakku (AOA). The family entertainer, directed by Malli Ankam, is set for release on May 3. The actress, who shot to fame with Jathi Ratnalu, says that her character in the film as a free-flowing one. “I play a youngster who doesn’t like to lead her life in a structured and a disciplined way – in a contrast to that of Allari Naresh’s character – who is organized and rigid. How they come together is the crux of the story,” says Faria, adding that her character has several resemblances to her real life too. “I am like that in real life too; I’d like to go with the flow.”
AOA Is About Male Protagonist’s Late MarriageAccording to the actress, the film doesn’t have a slapstick comedy; instead the humour emerges from the situations the lead protagonist is in. Moreover the conversations from the film are from the writing style, it’s very different, she says. From the trailer, it is evident that AOA is about the male protagonist’s late marriage. “The film showcases how unrealistic expectations for the perfect spouse are resulting in delayed marriages,” the actress says.
I Prefer Love Marriage, says FariaWhen asked Faria, whether she would opt for a love marriage, she replies in optimistic. “I think growing up, as a ’90s kid, we are a bit confused and are in two minds about marriage. But I am surely not going to opt for arranged marriage,” she states.
