A total of 570 new corona cases have been registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 570 new corona infection cases have been registered in Norway – 270 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 896 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 1,327, so the trend is declining.

On Friday, 107 corona patients were hospitalized – ten more than the day before. Furthermore, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview, 33 of the patients were in the intensive care unit, and among them, 19 were on respirators.

By midnight on Sunday night, 7.5 million corona tests had been performed in Norway since February last year. A total of 181,765 people tested positive.

To date, 4,046,955 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 3,539,750 people have received the second dose.
