A 90-year-old aged care resident woke to a man sexually assaulting her in a sickening attack at a Victorian nursing home on Sunday morning.
The woman woke to find the man sexually assaulting her at the Geelong aged care facility about 4.45am.
A worker at the Aldershot Rd facility then raised the alarm, causing the offender to run away, with the victim rushed to hospital for treatment.
A manhunt has been launched with sexual crimes squad detectives investigating the incident, with the dog squad also searching the area for the offender.

The offender has been described as being aged between 20 and 25 years old, fair skinned, of a thin build, about 163cm tall and wearing dark coloured pants, a dark coloured long-sleeve T-shirt and a red beanie.
Police have urged any residents, businesses or anyone passing through the area with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
Sexual crimes squad Detective Acting Inspector Mark Burnett will provide the media with an update at 2.30pm on Sunday.
